Shrimp, Clams, And Scallops Pasta

Ingredients:

• 2 tsps. extra virgin olive oil
• 1 cup chopped onion
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
• 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
• 1/2 cup white wine
• 1 tbsp. sugar
• 1 tsp. salt
• 2 tsps. dried oregano
• 1 tbsp. crushed red pepper flakes
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 (16 oz.) package uncooked spaghetti
• 1 lb. clams
• 2 tsps. extra virgin olive oil
• 1 lb. shrimp
• 1 lb. scallops
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Direction:

• Heat 2 tsp. olive oil in saucepan on medium heat; cook garlic and onion till
tender. Mix bay leaf, red pepper, oregano, salt, sugar, wine, tomato paste and
crushed tomatoes in; simmer for 1 hour, occasionally mixing, uncovered.
• Boil a big pot with lightly salted water. Put spaghetti in pot; cook till al
dente, 8-10 minutes. Drain.
• Put clams in a pot fitted with a steamer basket above boiling water; steam
till opened. Discard unopened clams; mix into sauce.
• Heat 2 tsp. olive oil in skillet on medium heat; cook scallops and shrimp till
opaque, about 2 minutes. Mix garlic in; mix into sauce. Serve seafood with
sauce on top of cooked spaghetti; put Parmesan cheese over.
