In honor of #piday tomorrow (as in the number 3.14159265359 ) I am making some pie! Obviously 😉So before we go making a whole bunch of pies, I thought I would share my favorite pie dough recipe. One of the things that I love about pie (and cooking in general) is that everyone has their favorite way of doing things. Personally this is how I like to make pie dough, although I know there are many other ways – so test them all and find your favorite. Couple notes: The key to flaky pie crust is keeping everything cold. So make sure your butter and liquid are really cold before using. I like making it in a food processor. That’s my personal preference but you can also make this by hand. Lastly, I like using buttermilk in my pie dough because it creates a tender crust as well as uses up all the leftover buttermilk that always seems to be hanging out in my fridge. You could swap in with ice water. Grab the full recipe with the link in my profile. Music by @dyallas and the name of the song is "Could you"
